Grand Master Akash Banjara — Nepalese Sound Healing Master
Grand Master Akash Banjara is a highly recoginised Nepalese sound healer, teacher, and international trainer known for his deep wisdom, authentic lineage, and transformative healing techniques. Born in the Himalayan region of Gorkha, Nepal, Master Akash grew up surrounded by sacred temples, natural vibrations, and spiritual traditions. From an early age, he showed an extraordinary sensitivity to sound, music, and energy — a gift that guided him onto the path of healing.
Raised near the Himalayas, he was initiated into spiritual learning at a young age, training under temple gurus, monks, yogis, and traditional masters who introduced him to sacred sounds, mantras, meditation, and the ancient philosophies of Nepal and India. His passion for natural healing led him to India, where he continued his studies in some of the most renowned spiritual centers including Rishikesh, Dharamshala, Sikkim, and Vrindavan. There, he received advanced training in sound therapy, yoga, Reiki, energy transformation, Sanskrit, power centering, music therapy, meditation and vibrational consciousness from various distinguished masters.
Drawing from these profound experiences, Grand Master Akash developed a unique and impactful healing system that integrates traditional Himalayan sound healing techniques with modern scientific understanding of vibration, frequency, and the mind-body connection. Through years of clinical practice, he has created specialized sound healing methods that support a wide range of conditions, including cancer, chronic pain, migraines, arthritis, insomnia, stroke recovery, emotional imbalance, high stress, nervous system disorders, and even prenatal wellness. Many individuals have experienced significant improvements under his care, making his approach highly trusted and respected across cultures.
With over a 18 years of teaching and healing experience, Master Akash has trained thousands of students worldwide and provided healing to more than 10,000 individuals. He stands as the first Nepalese sound therapist officially accredited by the Government of Nepal, a prestigious recognition earned through both mastery and contribution to the preservation of traditional sound healing practices.
He is the founder of the Natural Sound Healing International School, the first international sound healing institution officially authorized by the Government of Nepal. His school now has branches in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Australia, China, and continues to expand into more countries. Through his global teaching tours, he has shared workshops and courses in Germany, Taiwan, Malaysia, Italy, and other nations, enriching communities and uplifting practitioners across the world.
Grand Master Akash is also a multi-instrumentalist, working with a rich spectrum of traditional and contemporary healing instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, shankhas, tingshas, bells, flutes, handpans, didgeridoos, and other vibrational tools. His deep connection to music and sound has also led him to create original healing recordings, blending devotional energy with therapeutic sound frequencies.
